**Description:**
UTC Aerospace Systems in Santa Isabel is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our mechanical operations team. Below are the requirements for the position: • Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities for employees in the assigned cells. • Manage overall operation on a plant floor and ensure production, quality, visual shop and safety goals among others are met. • Develop and maintain a work group which is capable of meeting and exceeding departmental objectives. • Plan and coordinate production schedule with efficient utilization of personnel and equipment. • Clearly communicate company policy and procedures, core values and job expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising job results, coaching and training, mentoring, and disciplining hourly employees as deemed appropriate in a fair and consistent manner. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment; educate and direct personnel on the proper use of control points, equipment, and available resources to maintain compliance with established environmental, health and safety policies.
**Qualification:** Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing environment. • Proven ability to lead functional groups and operational units. • Experience in development and management of budget, staffing, and business operations results. • Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers. • Experience documenting employee related issues, monitoring employee attendance and administering disciplinary actions. • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish. • Knowledge in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ACE and Project Management skills. • Good attendance and disciplinary record. • Available to work in first, second and third shifts plus availability to work on weekends and Holidays. • Due to iTAR regulations candidates must be an US Citizen.
**Education:** Bachelor's Degree (engineering preferred) w/2-5+ years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
