Kapili Services is looking for a qualified Project Support Specialist to support a national customer in conducting services under their branches relating to: arborviral, bacterial, dengue, and Rickettsial Zoonoses. Position is located in Puerto Rico.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
+ Provide program support for epidemiology projects such as acute febrile illness surveillance, community engagement activities, evaluation of vector control projects, etc.
+ Assist with Epidemiology activities. Some of these activities include but are not limited to: coordination of strategic planning activities, creating resource lists, and tracking ongoing research and activities across the Epidemiology Team
+ Collaborate with the Epidemiology Team Lead on the implementation of program activities such as surveillance and community engagement activities
+ Collaborate with the Epidemiology Team Lead deputy to ensure appropriate management and operations of the Epidemiology Team
+ Collect updates from staff to monitor project progress and update milestones indicative of progress
+ Track databases and spreadsheets and organizes the operational components of the implementation of epidemiology and surveillance projects
CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
+ Must pass a background check to obtain a common access card (CAC)
