Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are looking for a product security architect to strengthen shared security team for Hospitality Business Unit (HGBU) to help building security into our applications from the ground up. *Job Description:*
The Product Security Architect will work within the HGBU Shared Security team and interface with Development, Testing and Corporate Security Groups to help development teams deliver security compliant, robust and reliable products. The ideal candidate will have software development experience and be current on typical SSDLC activities, starting from design reviews all the way up to deployment.
In this role you will act as the application security subject matter expert and security advisor for multiple teams both within HGBU. You will work with the security lead and other team members to build and evolve our security assurance programs.
*Day to Day Responsibilities:*
* You will review applications architecture and documentation to validate their security posture.
* You will review and/or proactively propose remediations for security vulnerabilities and work with product teams to ensure proper implementations.
* You will work closely with Corporate Security and Cloud Operations to drive the software security certification process for the organization.
* You will perform security risk analysis for our products and portfolio.
* You will provide security guidelines for the organization to protect critical assets and data.
* You will be in charge of one or more of HGBU security assurance programs, and be responsible for reviewing security assurance status of product releases.
* You will be responsible for the evaluation of new technologies, tools, and/or development techniques that impact security
* You will review, analyze, and evaluate both internally developed software and external vendor products and procedures to address security requirements.
* You will maintain development security standards, policies, and procedures.
* You will work with teams to perform on-going security code and testing review to improve their security posture.
* You will help to define and develop consistent automated metrics covering all aspects of the security programs.
*Required Q**ualifications:*
* Prior development experience (3 years minimum).
* 5 years proven work experience as an application security professional working with/within development teams.
* In-depth understanding of background technical details of common application vulnerabilities, attack vectors and exploits, and techniques to remediate those vulnerabilities.
* Experience with performing product security reviews and analysis (Risk Analysis and Threat Modeling).
* Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, data and communication protection, etc. (such as*OAuth2, OpenConnect, WS-Security, SAML*).
* Exposure to and knowledge of complete SDLC in Enterprise Cloud Software environments.
* Solid knowledge of Web-related technologies.
* BS in Computer Science or similar technical field.
*Helpful Q**ualifications:*
* *Product security certifications, such as CSSLP.*
* Experience with various security tools and products (Fortify, WebInspect, Burp Suite) for static and dynamic analysis.
* Experience with mobile and Cloud technologies and development.
* Writing and Presentation skills.
