Designer - 3D - St. Paul - FREEMAN (Puerto Rico)
**SUMMARY**
Freeman is seeking a **3D Designer** to be responsible for designing graphic and structural elements for tradeshow environments and exhibits. Generates solutions to the creative challenges that our internal and external customers face in the fastest-paced, highest volume market in the country. Additional duties include:
+ Creates 3D environmental designs, including expositions and exhibits.
+ Creates 2D graphic designs for expositions and events with a focus on branding.
+ Prepares presentation renderings, digital presentations or sample boards.
+ Meets with and present to clients and account executives.
+ Develops original concepts from client notes and requirements.
+ Keeps current with design trends and research.
+ Maintains familiarity with modular system and custom build design.
+ Utilizes CAD to develop, render and detail construction drawings; record dimensions and generate precise material schedules for project estimation and/or assembly.
+ Lays out exhibitor spaces, registration, meeting rooms and other functions.
+ Field measures new facilities and remodeled facilities to verify and maintain AutoCAD files with current accuracy.
+ Prioritizes with department manager/supervisor to execute project assignments.
+ Works to ensure the ‘design vision’ falls in line with client objectives, from budget evaluation and concept development through the presentation of design solutions to senior management. Recognizes and proactively resolve problems relating to design structure.
+ Recognizes and proactively resolve problems relating to design structure.
+ Balances multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**Minimum Requirements**
**EDUCATION**
+ Bachelor's Degree in exhibit design, environmental design, set design, or related fields.

**REQUIREMENTS**
+ Minimum six (6) years equivalent work experience in specific design discipline associated with role.
+ Solid skills in AutoCAD, 3D Studio VIZ and other Adobe CS applications especially Illustrator.
+ Must be creative and enthusiastic about design
+ Demonstrated to be well-versed in exhibit and tradeshow concepts
+ Must be able to articulate design concepts to clients, account executives, and other designers
+ Demonstrated to be organized and able to manage multiple assignments at once
+ Must be a team player ' willing to lead or follow as the project demands
+ Proven customer service skills
